As a young engineer Arthur DeFeo founded DeFeo Manufacturing early in 1983 after spending many years working for an Allison dealership in the late 1960s and 70s. There he worked on ways to rebuild and refurbish old Allison transmission parts. Arthur excelled at producing new designs and fortifying current designs.
